This service makes it easier to share just the right data on people as they are in need, across social care organizations. A typical person in need gets United Ways referrals to 5-7 discrete, local, social service organizations, in a given county, by an effective national service run in 250 locals, called a local 211. United Ways of CA runs nine CA 211’s covering 32 counties in CA, such as UNITED WAY OF MERCED COUNTY, INC., run by CEO Robert Hypes, a creative innovator driving coordinated care in Merced. He is in the photo with me at the National 211 conference. You will be funding the engineering effort, of United Way of CA Data Engineers, (a VERY small team where Robert has added 2), to enhance and expand modern ways to get just the right need data on a person, to the right service organization, in the right town, at the right time, under a CA state project named DxF. Every $100 or $500 or $1k helps fund full time & contract data engineers to get this work done. United Ways CA touches over 800,000 individuals in need.
